Welcome to our Flathead River Haven - Charming house near Flathead River!
3 bedroom upper part of the home, seperated from an apartment below where the owner lives.
This beautiful home in Columbia Falls, Montana is where you can experience the true essence of Montana living! Flathead River is a short stroll from your front door, just across River Road! With its proximity to various attractions such as West Glacier National Park, Whitefish, and Kalispell, you'll have endless opportunities to explore and enjoy the wonders of the area.
The home features three bedrooms and two bathrooms, providing ample space for you and your guests. Upon entering the home, you'll be greeted by a nice coat closet available for you to hang your jackets and store your outdoor gear. You'll also find convenient laundry room, where you can take care of any laundry needs during your stay. This allows you to keep your clothes fresh and clean throughout your vacation. Additionally, further down the hall, you'll find a full bathroom with a shower/tub combination.
Opening up to the fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove top that allows you to prepare meals with ease, and the comfortable dining room provides a pleasant setting to enjoy your culinary creations. The cozy living room is a welcoming space where you can relax and unwind after a day of outdoor activities. It features a gas fireplace and a futon for additional sleeping arrangements if needed. Step out onto the covered back deck and immerse yourself in the tranquil surroundings. With a beautiful fire table and a gas grill, you can savor outdoor meals while taking in the breathtaking views. Whether you're grilling your favorite foods or simply enjoying a cup of coffee in the fresh Montana air, the back deck is a delightful space to unwind and appreciate the natural beauty.
The main level includes a bedroom with a twin bunk bed, perfect for accommodating younger guests or friends. Upstairs, you'll find two more bedrooms, one with a King bed and the other with a plush queen bed. Both bedrooms offer ceiling fans, mounted TVs with Roku streaming, and spacious closets for your convenience. The second full bathroom is shared by the two upstairs bedrooms with a shower/tub combo.
Although there is no garage access with this vacation rental, parking is convenient and located at the back of the property, with easy access through the yellow door.

*This home is pet friendly with a fenced yard, and allows one dog with an additional pet fee.

During the summer months, Columbia Falls is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, with nearby hiking trails, mountain biking, zip line adventures, whitewater rafting, fishing, and so much more.
Headed to explore Glacier National Park, you will see the water park at Big Sky Waterslides, a natural vortex at the House of Mystery, and the Amazing Fun Center with go carts, bumper boats, mini golf and a gigantic maze. When you are tired of exploring at ground level, take a walk in the trees at the Glacier Highline Adventure in Coram, or go on a horseback ride with Swan Mountain Outfitters – and don’t forget to check out the Crown of the Continent Discovery Center in West Glacier - with an awesome interactive map display and petting zoo during the summer months.
In the winter months, head to Whitefish Mountain Resort for skiing and snowboarding. Big Mountain, as locals still lovingly call it has 3,000 acres of world class downhill skiing at the ski resort, with spectacular views of Glacier National Park from the summit! We had a wonderful time and were amazed at how well equipped the home was. Having large quantities of shampoo, dish soap, laundry detergent as well as the kitchen seasonings and cookware was an unexpected surprise! We have never had a property with plentiful amenities like yours.

This place was perfect for a base of operations for day hikes at Glacier National Park. Easy 30 minute drive to the Apgar entrance to the park. Close to Glacier Park International airport. We enjoyed our stay at RF12 Flathead River Haven. The house was very clean and we loved how it was decorated. One of the evenings we realized the AC wasnt cooling and it was fixed very quickly after contacting Lakeshore Rentals. Easy drive to GNP and Whitefish. Wed stay here again!

This house was about as perfect as it gets for a family vacation near Glacier National Park. The house was well stocked with everything we needed especially the kitchen which was appreciated as we tend to cook quite a bit while on vacation. Nice house in Columbia Falls, which is one of the nicer towns near Glacier National Park. House looked exactly as it did in the pictures, location was convenient to the park and to town. Beds were comfortable. Walking distance to Flathead River and fishing.
